Susan Mills Barrett

If you’ve stopped by The Palms Front Desk for any of these services, chances are you’ve met Susan Mills Barrett, Lead Receptionist. She has worked at The Palms for over two years where she’s become an integral part of the Villages family. Susan does such an efficient job; it’s hard to imagine not having her around.
Susan has always had an affinity for seniors. This kinship can be traced back to long summers spent at a family shore house where she enjoyed many hours interacting with elderly relatives and listening to their stories of life on the East Coast.
Susan spent her formative years in the Chicago area and worked in Human Resources and in legal and executive assistant positions, while earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Music at DePaul University. Before moving to California, she worked for her father’s valve business for ten years. Susan’s life journey has led her to The Villages of San Luis Obispo where she enjoys making residents feel at home.
